Creating a "Featured Type" Promotion

Creating a feature type promotion is a great way to highlight specific products on your shop's homepage. Please note this type of promotion does not include any deals or discounts. To create a feature type promotion follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to your Manager Dashboard

2. Click on Manage Promotions

3. Ensure you are in the correct pricelist and then select Add Promotion

4. Enter a Name for your promotion

The name entered here is not visible to customers and is just for you to easily reference the promotion

5. Enter a category name in the "Show Under Category" field

This field is visible to customers. You can either enter an existing category or enter a new category name which will be added to the shop's homepage page under the search bar

6. Select a Start and End Date

 

7. Select Create 

8. Next, select Add Items Group

This will allow you to choose the products that you'd like to feature

9. Enter a name for the Item Group

The name entered here is not visible to customers and is just for you to easily reference 

10. Enter a category name in the "Show Under Category" field

You can either leave this field blank and the system will default to the main product category, or you can create a new category name which will be visible to customers

11. Select Promotion Type

Select Featured Item 

12. Click on Create

 

 

13. Click on Select Items to add items to this group

14. Find and select the products you want to add 

 

15. Click on Back to review the item list

16. If everything looks correct click on Save to save your changes

Please note a system message will not appear, but we can ensure the details have been saved

17. Next click on Back

18. If you'd like to add more Item Groups you can choose "Add Items Group" and repeat steps 8-17

19. Finally click on Activate

An activated promotion will become "Live" or "Ongoing" based on your selected start date. It will end on the selected end date
